Tips

  1. Throwing materials such as glass and cigarette butts on the ground could cause a fire, since plant material is highly combustible; despite that natural fires occur in the region, when they are caused by human action, they can alter the natural cycles of these ecosystems.
  2. In this region the presence of snakes is abundant, if you meet one, move away with caution and always keep calm, do not go to hurt them, surely they are more scared than you. They prey on large numbers of rodents and in some parts of the plains they keep them in the houses to avoid these mammals in the kitchen.
