Evolution Hall

The evolution hall shows the main lines of evidence on which evolutionary theory is based, namely. The halll includes a display highlighting the relationship between speciation processes and the emergence of geographical barriers in the Isthmus of Panama, a display with replicas of iconic fossils and an interactive that show the permanent process of extinction and replacement of lineages, a display that highlights the correspondence of parts between historically related groups and a display with a complete collection of skulls replicas of all know species of hominids, our closest relatives, associated with an interactive that shows the advantages and disadvantages of the bipedal position as well as another that describes the main characteristics of each species exhibited.
